My client is looking for an Exec Sous chef on the island of Guernsey. Chefs Etc is currently looking to recruit an experienced Exec Sous Chef to work in a Rosetted restaurant in idyllic settings of Guernsey. As the Sous Chef, you work closely with the Head Chef and prepare you self to take over as head chef within 6 months
The restaurant prides itself on using local produce from local farms on the island. As the Sous Chef, you will help lead the team throughout the week with the restaurant doing 60 covers per night. Passion is essential and the restaurant prides itself on using local produce from local farms and suppliers whilst incorporating new ideas into their menu ranges.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef/Head Chef and team management.
- Knowledge of food handling in 2 Rosetted background
- Ability to work well in a team
- Dedication to food quality and control
- Able to work within GP restrictions and provide a profitable operation
- £30k – £33k per annum
- Chef whites provided
- Live in at the cost of £95 per week
- Meals on and off duty
