My Client is looking for a full-time Head Chef for a Hotel in the area of Exeter. They are looking for someone who can take the team to the next leave and are willing to hand over a good package for the right person
They are delighted to provide their customers with West country Food, Award Winning Cask Ales and 4-star Accommodation.
Their menu is of the classic one with your prawn cocktail and steaks, They now want to take this up a level and push for awards. They need a Head Chef who can take control of the Rota’s, Budgets, Staff control, Kitchen paperwork. In other words, All aspects of the kitchen.
As the Head Chef, you will need to help you younger members of the team learn the menu and work alongside them. Be as confident preparing & cooking food as you are plating & expediting dishes for others. Be confident in working with fresh ingredients as much as possible and with that, you can sort out your own suppliers using southwest produce. Maintain a safe, secure & clean environment by following standards & procedures. Contribute to the menu of dishes on the Specials board & be able to work well under pressure during busy times.
