I am looking for a Kitchen Manager for a nice Country Pub in South Devon.
My client is looking for a full-time Kitchen Manager for the lovely pub next to the sea. The atmosphere is outstanding and with locals and holidaymakers. You feel at home
As a Sous Chef, You will need to help you younger members of the team learn the menu and work alongside them. Be as confident preparing & cooking food as you are plating & expediting dishes for others. Be confident in working with fresh ingredients as much as possible. Maintain a safe, secure & clean environment by following standards & procedures. Contribute to the menu of dishes on the Specials board & be able to work well under pressure during busy times.
There deal with Fresh fish local form the sea and the fresh local meat on your doorstep. There are destination pub and well known for the food and service. They have celebrities living local and use the pub and well as the holidaymakers who make it a great pub in the summer
You will have free range on the menu to do what you see fit for the pub and the area and make it yours. If you do well, There are bonuses waiting for you to be discussed at the interview
You will be required to work evenings, Bank Holidays and weekends, and also provide cover for fellow members of the kitchen team. Wage reflective of skills and experience, and subject to regular review based on performance.
Starting package is 29k upwards
No Live in but can help with live-inthe area or someone who is local
