I am looking for a Sous Chef for a nice Country Pub in South Devon.
My client is looking for full-time Sous Chef for the lovely pub next to the sea. The atmosphere is outstanding and with locals and holidaymakers. You feel at home
As a Sous Chef, You will need to help you younger members of the team learn the menu and work alongside them while supporting the Head. Be as confident preparing & cooking food as you are plating & expediting dishes for others. Be confident in working with fresh ingredients as much as possible. Maintain a safe, secure & clean environment by following standards & procedures. Contribute to the menu of dishes on the Specials board & be able to work well under pressure during busy times.
There deal with Fresh fish local form the sea as well as Sunday Carvery and a pub menu
The pub in a little village and trades comes from holidaymakers so it can be very busy in the Summer Season
You will be required to work evenings, Bank Holidays and weekends, and also provide cover for fellow members of the kitchen team. Wage reflective of skills and experience, and subject to regular review based on performance.
Starting package is 30k
Live-in can be provided
