My client is looking for a Sous Chef for a nice Country Pub in Cotswolds to start asap
As a Sous Chef, you will need to help you younger members of the team learn the menu and work alongside them while supporting the Head. Be as confident preparing & cooking food as you are plating & expediting dishes for others. Be confident in working with fresh ingredients as much as possible. Maintain a safe, secure & clean environment by following standards & procedures. Contribute to the menu of dishes on the Specials board & be able to work well under pressure during busy times.
Their menu is focused on fresh food and fish as much as they can. Their suppliers are the best around with the best local products & produce
They are an upmarket pub with staff accommodation that is 6 miles away so you will need to drive or be happy to walk. 4 days on 3 days off. Yes, I did say 4 on 3 off for 30k so not a bad deal. The four days on are 12 to 15 hour days.

You are working in a team of 5 plus and will be one of 2 Sous work opposite each other with one day together plus covering the Head chef. If you have a young family. and live in the Cotswolds. This could be the position for you
You will be required to work evenings, Bank Holidays and weekends, and also provide cover for fellow members of the kitchen team. Wage reflective of skills and experience, and subject to regular review based on performance.
Starting package is 30k + Tips, Bonuses
Live-in can be provided free of charge for the right person
